Prayer I
My Heart to Yours, Father
Abba,
You know my heart because You made it.
You wrote every longing in me —
every ache for connection, every breath that hopes,
every soul-deep desire to be seen, chosen, and loved.
And You already have.
You are my first love.
You are my beginning and my becoming.
And because I am Yours, I remember who I am:
Patient. Kind. Redeemed. Holy.
Made in Your image. Made whole by Your grace.
Thank You for walking me through my celibacy journey —
for showing me I was never alone.
Thank You for Jesus, who taught me to love You
and myself more fully.
Now I stand open, not lacking, not grasping — just ready.
Ready for the one You’ve set apart for me.
Not from a place of fear, not from my past,
but from Your perfect plan.
Remind me to wait in faith,
to pray instead of control,
to release instead of rewind.
Because I trust You.
You didn’t send me to be cloistered.
You sent me to be present —
to work, to serve, to love.
And I believe You’re not done writing my story.
So I will pray, I will praise, I will prepare.
For what You’ve ordained, no man can stop.
And I will walk toward it in joy.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer II
God’s Whisper to You
My daughter,
You are not late.
You are not lost.
You are exactly where I’ve placed you —
on holy ground.
I have watched you become.
I saw every tear you cried in silence.
I held you through every chapter
you thought might break you.
And now — now, you rise.
You are patient because I am patient in you.
You are kind because My Spirit flows through you.
You are whole because I made you so.
And the love you seek?
It is not withheld — it is prepared.
You will know him not by striving,
but by peace.
Not by old patterns,
but by My presence.
Keep walking, little one.
Your life is not random — it’s anointed.
Stay grounded in Me,
and I will bring every good thing to pass.
Your prayers are heard,
your waiting is sacred,
and your story is far from over.
I love you.
Forever and always.
~ Your Abba
Reflection
Strength and Fragility
You are not breaking — you’re becoming.
Strength isn’t the absence of fragility.
It’s the courage to keep showing up
even when you feel both.
That’s where the power is.
That’s where the Holy Spirit breathes.
Let this be your truth for today:
“I am not afraid to feel deeply.
I am not ashamed to be in transition.
I am held in the hands of the One who strengthens me
and calls me by name.”
It is my deepest honor to share this two-part poem and its reflection, because we are all one.
The further I go on this journey, the more I know that we are all walking each other home. We are all working through the same things in different ways.
We can change this world — and it truly is just a flip of a switch away!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
You are held. You are seen. You are in the circle of grace, too.
With grace and presence,
